About the Conference

Every year in July, the IIRSI hosts an ophthalmic conference in Chennai. It invites eminent foreign faculty members to share their experience in their respective subspecialties.

The conference includes invited Foreign Faculty Lectures, Live Surgery, Hands-on Wetlab, Ophthalmic Premier League, IIRSI Film Festival Award Show (IFFA), IIRSI Photography Competition, Court Martial in Ophthalmology, Company Sponsored Symposiums, Sessions for Young Ophthalmologists, and many other activities.



Why you should attend IIRSI 2026

IIRSI attendees can enjoy a scientific feast for two days. They will learn new techniques in Cataract and Refractive Surgery, gain hands-on experience in the Wet-lab, and be able to begin practicing with confidence. They will be able to interact with and clarify their doubts with expert ophthalmologists. They can compete for exciting prizes in the IIRSI Photography Competition and the IFFA - IIRSI Film Festival. Bronze Museum
