About the Conference

Every year in July, the IIRSI hosts an ophthalmic conference in Chennai. It invites eminent foreign faculty members to share their experience in their respective subspecialties.

The conference includes invited Foreign Faculty Lectures, Live Surgery, Hands-on Wetlab, Ophthalmic Premier League, IIRSI Film Festival Award Show (IFFA), IIRSI Photography Competition, Court Martial in Ophthalmology, Company Sponsored Symposiums, Sessions for Young Ophthalmologists, and many other activities.

Bronze Museum

One of the oldest museums in the Indian subcontinent, the Government Museum, Chennai was founded in 1851. Later on, the building was shifted to its current site. Spread in the area of 16 acres, the museum has six independent buildings and forty-six galleries.
